Like many enjoyable ventures, it started as a hobby…

The founders of James Anthony Gallery, brothers Nicholas James and
Simon Anthony get a kick out of sourcing rare and often unique items
that represent the very finest in craftsmanship and design.

What started as a hobby soon turned into a fledgling business as
fellow collectors, private clients and interior designers asked for help
in finding that special item.

The brothers spend countless hours sourcing items from across the globe
and they thoroughly enjoy the process – they call it ‘the hunt’.

Quite often, they are fortunate to have access to the history behind the pieces
and try to keep this with the item so that you can carry on the story.

They also collaborate with the finest creatives bringing you exclusive
editions that they know you’ll fall in love with.

THE COTSWOLD GALLERY

An intimate and relaxing environment

James Anthony Gallery and James Anthony Studios are based in the
beautiful North Cotswolds, in and around Moreton in Marsh.

Situated at the top floor of No1 Cotswolds in a 400 year old building,
James Anthony Gallery is different to the usual gallery
because it has been designed to give a more intimate experience
where you can relax and unwind as you reflect on the items around you.

Why appointment only?

Nicholas, Simon or one of the gallery team delight in giving personal
tours of the gallery, explaining the story behind each item and learning
about you and your areas of interest. It’s about building a relatonship so
that when they come across items that they know you’ll love,
they will give you first refusal.

If there is something specific you’re looking for they can
reach out to their network of contacts and help you find it.

THE COTSWOLD STUDIO

Nestled near the village of Blockley, a few miles from the gallery is the
James Anthony Studio.

Designed as an extension of the Moreton in Marsh gallery, it houses
the larger items such as statues, paintings and even a few classic cars
and motorcycles.

The studio can also be hired for photography and film shoots so if you
require a unique space for your project, get in touch and we’ll
see what we can do.
