Antique Spotting Telescope

A wonderful WW1 3-Draw spotting telescope by Lawrence & Mayo on its original tripod. In good working order, sporting a lovely patina to both leather and metalwork.

Inscribed Lawrence & Mayo, 00646, MkII on the body and an ordnance out-of-service mark (opposing Broad Arrows) on the tripod.

Lawrence & Mayo was established 1837.

An original antique framed print showing a similar telescope in action titled ‘The 1st Middlesex Victoria Rifles Volunteers’ comes with the scope.

A superb set ready to grace a study or lounge.
