Attributed Trench Art Ashtray
A superb quality heavy chrome plated ashtray made from an artillery shell. Rare have we seen examples of such quality and with such a deep silver lustre. Although it is relatively small being 9cm in diameter, it has a quality ‘heft’ to it.
A silver plaque mounted to the side reads:
436 Coy, R.A.S.C. (AMPHIBIAN)
1945 MALAYA 1946
In the centre is a Malaya 5 Cent coin.
