Hand made model engine

A very well engineered apprentice model / salesman piece, built from steel, copper and brass on a wooden base.

The pistons/cylinders move freely in a very satisfying way and can be manually operated via a round wooden knob. There is access for oiling the cylinders via hatches that can be unscrewed.

This is a very heavy, satisfying model with a great patina. A very lovely desk toy.
