A superb piece of fairground art by renowned showmans artist Eugene Sloan.

Depicting a determined motorcyclist of the 1930’s as he negotiates the vertical walls of the velodrome, otherwise known as the ‘Wall Of Death’, a well known carnival sideshow featuring a silo- or barrel-shaped wooden cylinder, typically ranging from 20 to 36 feet in diameter and made of wooden planks, inside which motorcyclists travel along the vertical wall and perform stunts, held in place by friction and centrifugal force. Pass the sick bag!

A cracking piece.
